He received his Higher Diploma of Applied Arts specialised on typography from l'École supérieure Estienne, Paris. He has been impassioned with book design, the history of art and human sciences for over a decade now. This enables him to keep a balance between research in the domain of book design, and while concentrating on the legibility in terms of pagesetting and typography. Through his career as a free lance designer he has worked – among others – with the Bibliothèque nationale de France publisher, the Attoma information design agency and Philippe Apeloig studio. He taught typography at l'école de communication visuelle (ECV), Bordeaux. His experience with the agency Attoma, awakened an acute sensitivity to ergonomics in the field of information design. He seeks to develop editorial projects ranging from book design to visual communication, while pursuing his projects in academics and pedagogy, that are always linked with his passion for culture & information.
He animate workshops in typography, pagessetting and history of book design on Master and Professional Publisher law degree.
In September 2007, he creates Textualis design studio dedicated to information design & book design.

Researcher join in l'École d'architecture de Marne La Vallée, she's teaches graphic design history at l'École supérieure d'art et de design d'Amiens and at l'école régionale des Beaux-Arts de Rennes. She's the author of many articles on the graphic design and has been in charge of commissionership for various exhibitions, among which the section graphics of “the Force of art” at Grand Palais en 2006 and, with Emmanuel Bérard, “Wim Crouwel, architectures typographiques” with la galerie Anatome on 2007. Its second book, Vers une architecture du livre. Le Corbusier, édition et mise en pages, came out in march 2007 at Lars Müller Publishers.
